Benchmark has three primary "lines of business" related to third-party management services of hotels, resorts, and conference centers. Benchmark's primary business is serving real estate owners, not owning real estate. We believe  strongly that our fiduciary responsibility is to all owners first and we would never want to jeopardize our  independence or financial stability by "dabbling" in real estate ownership. 

Gemstone Collection

These are a smaller collection of personal luxury properties, ranging from 55 to 170 guest rooms. These properties are typically located in unique destinations and markets where the size, physical attributes, character, and market allow Benchmark to position the property at the top of the market in rate and occupancy.

 Benchmark Resorts & Hotels

These are a collection of larger properties ranging from 150 to more than 500 guest rooms. They are positioned as "four-diamond", full-service resorts and hotels. Most properties are positioned with Benchmark's conference center concept and are members of the International Association of Conference Centers.

 Corporate Conference Centers

These properties are a collection of either day-conference centers or hotel and conference centers, owned by major corporations, universities, or not-for-profit organizations seeking the quality and experience of an open-market resort and hotel operator to enhance their leadership training and corporate events.

To properly reflect the highest standards required to maintain this exemplary achievement, resorts, conference centers, and hotels must meet a rigorous criteria to be recognized as a Benchmark Conference Center and receive this certification.
